Conspiracy theories and esoteric utopias are very much en vogue and are shaping current debates. In her art, Karin Ferrari is a witty and ironic observer of such issues. Her video works, which resemble mystery documentaries, interweave fact and fiction, speculation and academic theory into a captivating artistic analysis of the zeitgeist. Karin Ferrari is the winner of the 2018 Art Prize awarded by Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG, which is helping to produce this exhibition.
