With the rise of National Socialism, the situation for artists became increasingly difficult in the Tyrol. The majority adapted to the new dogmas in the field of art. The exhibition offers an insight into the artworks and the official art scene of those years of war and ideology in the Tyrol. One section of the exhibition is devoted to drawings of the horrors of the concentration camp by the Kufstein artist Harald Pickert. The exhibition also includes works by Martin Gostner, Tatiana Lecomte and Marcel Odenbach as contemporary (art) commentaries.
